This memoir captured the emotions that author felt when moving to a new country perfectly. He had to contend with strict parents, little money, and other issues and captured those moments brilliantly in this fish out of water memoir. The honest writing makes it easy to empathize with him.

I am excited at the same time speechless to get a 5 star review from Cristie.

Inviting everyone to join the DROPLETS task force.

Dear friends,

I want to invite you to join DROPLETS book launch task force! A book’s success depends a lot on word of mouth and grassroots marketing, so the purpose of this force is simple. LET’s be real here. If you’re interested in joining the task force, please follow my blog and connect to me with your full name and address so I can provide you with a complimentary e book. Please do that via contact page on this blog site.

Journey of my book Droplets

I am compelled to write this today. I am positive that this will inspire many others who are on the way to write a book. Or, even starting their own blog. Whatever they are trying to do. One thing I learned with this process is. Never stop because of others. You stop only if you want to. Always believe in what you want to do. Keep on writing.

Droplets went through many changes. I traveled with it. I have to say, like many travels this one was not easy either. I went through many rejections. I got fooled by the people out there who wants to make a buck out of my hard labor. I got bad reviews. One even said, “the worst book ever read”

These quotes, remarks can easily bring anyone down. But friends, you are not writing for one person. You are writing for the ones, who will appreciate your hard work. Find them. It is not easy. Took me two years in the making. I self publish this book under the name “Come-Travel With Me” with a subtitle “Ten Droplets”.

Once a famous actor from south India told in an interview ” If you polish a brass piece every day, that piece will shine like a star”. He said this about his acting. He is a well know proven actor for a long time. He is none other than Mammooty. Well, this can apply in every ones life. If you have a product and you believe in it. Keep improving it. Keep trying with many people. One day it will come out and some one will see its worth.

I will show you the revisions at least on the cover page. So you will see how much it evolved. What is the final product. Today I can proudly say, Droplets is a fine book for anyone to read. It is polished. It is edited by professionals. I am very happy. I am sure some of you will like this as well. Please read my book and give some reviews anywhere in the social media you use. For authors like us, word of mouth is the oxygen. Thanks for reading my blog. See below the transformation of my book.

This is my own design which I used when I self published the book.

Below is the publisher’s first draft. I felt it was too close to my design. Went back to design table.

Below is the third. It was missing something according to my gut instinct. Friends, you don’t compromise until you are fully satisfied. So I asked them to go back to design table again.

I went with this one below. It is set to release on August 8 2019. I am content. Happy. I am also saying this because this feeling, I am sure many have felt. But only those who stick to it and push harder will get the results. So Friends, See below my book DROPLETS

Perspective on life

Today I happened to listen to a motivational speaker. Listening to him, I felt like sharing his words here. Not exactly his words, but the message is same. I got different angle of looking at life today after I listened. It is eye opening. He asked the following questions one by one.

You are born because of?

Others.

Your name is given by?

Others.

Your resources such as meat, vegetables etc by?

Others

The love and affection you receive are from?

Others

The money you earn while working are given by?

Others

The respect you earn are given by?

Others

When you die the last rites are given by?

Others

The wealth you earn when you are alive is given or taken by?

Others

So, Why don’t we all close our eyes and think a minute is it that we are the ones who do every thing. No your existence itself is because of others. Once you start thinking that you don’t do any thing alone, the people around do for you, then you slowly will develop compassion for others. People who always says “I worked hard, I did this for you, I stepped up to achieve this” should realize that it is not I, it is we.

Knowledge is to share. I gained this knowledge yesterday and I felt I should share this to whoever is reading my blog. I believe in positive things. Last few years, I have changed and only positve I see. I donot have time for negativity in my life. Share this message, Repost this message if you like.

Birthdays.

I don’t like birthdays. Simple. I have many reasons.

  1. What is so special about coming to this world?
  2. You see a lot of issues just because you are here.
  3. You see pain and sufferings just because you are here.
  4. You wish you have control on certain problems, just because you happened to be here.
  5. Your work and issues related with that, just because you happened to be here.
  6. War and politics, you see just because you are here.
  7. You are helpless, just because you are here.
  8. Crime and death you see, just because you are here.
  9. You are bullied just because you are here
  10. You are always judged, just because you are here
  11. Your faith, believe, responsibilities all questioned, just because you are here.
  12. Your race, color, nationality all under review, just because you are here.

Above reasons I listed doesn’t mean I hate life. I love my life. I wonder why people celebrate birthdays not death. I think it should be other way around. Death should be celebrated. He or she finished her so called duty here on earth deserves to be celebrated. There are many beliefs out there states, we are send here for a reason. I do not see anything, why people are here creating lot of hatred?  Is that the reason why God send us here? Then I will say birthdays are the worst day in ones life. These days people fight each other in the name or religion, faith, country, color, race and even for possessions. No love. Screw birthdays my friends. I am scared for my children. This world is going in the direction where there will be no love left.

I always said, I will write to encourage positiveness. I hope writing this will make some people to think about love. We people should love each other. Then birthdays will find its meaning. Till then, I think deathday is the one we should celebrate.

Loved my writing. Please do buy my experiences in a book format. Link below.

FOMO- What is this?

FOMO- Fear of missing out. It is a new thing among new generation. Social media nowadays rule lives. This is condition nowadays. I have to say it is not good for mental health. Every one wants to be informed about everything every second.

I see people buried their heads on their gadgets while walking on the road. I always wonder, how come these people are so ignorant. They are missing a lot out in the real world around them. Even in sky trains, they do not bother to look outside.

When I was growing up, people watching and vehicle watching are done by every one. At least we were aware what is happening around us. These days no one really knows what happened just around them. They always want to be connected with social media.

If they don’t check this fear of missing out will take over them. For example, there is a party they all attended. Then they will post the pictures in social media. They all will like them and talk about them. What I don’t understand is why they have to talk about it when they all have attended this together. It is FOMO.

So people please enjoy nature atleast when you are out and about. Social media and your friends there will always be there. Enjoy the sun, Enjoy the flowers. Feel the wind, feel the rain. Smile at others who walk by. Say hello to them. Bring back the oldies friends. It is very important for our survival. We are creating people who only knows how to communicate over social media. Stop it. We can do that.

Enjoyed my writing. here is my preview of my book. Read it.  if you like the preview. Buy it and review it on amazon. Thank you friends. See you later.

Mata, Pita, Guru, Daivam

Those who have some connection to India will get the heading. If you don’t here it is

Mata means Mother

Pita means Father

Guru means Teacher

Daivam means God

That is the order I am taught to follow and respect. How many of us out there who calls God whenever there is a problem. I suggest, call you Mom. Her words and love will take away half of your misery. This Day and Age, we all are busy.
At work I see many of us go through hard days. I have seen many looking up and say why God why? I suggest calling your Dad. I am sure the experience he got in his life will give you solutions. He might have same circumstances in his life. He may be able to say Son or daughter, do this.

I have seen many times parents look up and say God, what will do, my kids are not listening. They are not doing what I like them to do. I don’t understand where I am failing. I am providing everything for them. I suggest, Call their teacher or your teacher. I am sure they will have the insight we are missing. They deal with them day in day out.

In my perspective God has given all the solutions we need. We are just ignorant and we just call him now and then. We should say thanks to him for his ways of loving us and giving the resources he provided for us.

Finally I want to thank God for helping me in my life and at the same time helping me to put together my book.
